Fillers
Fillers
At Bella Derma, we use facial fillers made from hyaluronic acid. Injectable hyaluronic acid is a type of temporary dermal filler and is found naturally throughout the body. The use of fillers can help give proper proportions, soften wrinkles, plump and hydrate lips, and replace soft-tissue volume loss. The purpose of filler is to provide balance and harmony to the face.

FAQs
What are injectable dermal fillers?
Dermal Fillers are Injectable Hyaluronic Acid which is found naturally throughout the body making this a very safe treatment. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring component important for the structure of collagen and connective tissue health. Fillers come in pre-filled 1-milliliter syringes. A mini lip plump uses half a syringe or 0.5 milliliters. Age volume loss and your desired look all play a role in how much Filler is used.
What are good candidates for dermal fillers?
- Are physically healthy
- No underlying health conditions
- Don’t smoke
- Don’t have deep lines where a facelift would work better
- Have a positive outlook and realistic goals in mind!
Are there any tips to follow before injections?
The most important thing is to avoid any medications that thin your blood or increase your risk of bruising. Please avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and alcohol for 7 days before injections. Also, remember to give yourself two weeks before a special event or vacation in case you do have any bruising.
When will I see the results after my filler treatment?
Following your Filler treatment, you will experience immediate results but also temporary swelling for a few days. Filler can cause mild swelling for the first 3-5 days but resolves within the first week or two. The product settles nicely within two weeks after treatment, and you will see your final results. Remember to get Filler done at least 2 weeks before any big event or vacation to make sure you have enough time to heal.
Does filler wear off naturally?
Filler is broken down naturally by your body over months depending on what type of Filler was used and how much was injected. Fillers can last anywhere from 6-24 months depending on the type of Filler used and how your body metabolizes Filler.
